Giuseppe Spagnulo

Giuseppe Spagnulo (1936 - 2016) was active/lived in Italy.  Giuseppe Spagnulo is known for Painting and sculpture.

From 1952 to 1958, Giuseppe Spagnulo studied at the Istituto d'Arte per la Ceramica in Faenza.  In 1959, he was an assistant in the sculpture studios of Lucio Fontana and Arnaldo Pomodoro.  In addition, he became acquainted with Piero Manzoni.  As of 1968, he worked on the first iron sculptures.  In 1980, Spagnulo was a DAAD fellow in Berlin. 

He exhibited at both the Venice Biennale and the documenta in Kassel.  Some of his works in public spaces are located in the Kunstmuseum Bochum, in the Haus Weitmar and the Deutsche Bergbau-Museum in Bochum. (cko)
